Important Delivery Information (Please Read)

  • All products are delivered on pallets using professional freight carriers.
  • Standard delivery is to the first architectural barrier only (ground level / first accessible entrance).
  • Delivery does NOT include carrying goods upstairs, delivery to upper floors, use of stairs or elevators, unpacking, positioning, or installation.
  • Customers must ensure suitable access for pallet delivery and unloading at the delivery location.
  • Special delivery services (e.g. inside delivery, upper-floor delivery, tail lift) are not included and are available only upon prior agreement and additional cost.

Forison supplies professional workshop and industrial furniture to customers throughout Europe and worldwide.
Due to the size, weight, and individual handling of our products, shipping is arranged separately for each order.

The Website does not display prices and does not offer online checkout or standard shipping options.

Typical Production & Delivery Time

For standard product configurations, delivery typically takes:

  • approximately 20 business days from receipt of payment
  • around 80% of orders are delivered within 3 weeks

Please note:

  • these timeframes are estimates, not guarantees,
  • larger quantities, complex configurations, or long-distance shipments may require additional time,
  • the final estimated delivery time is confirmed in the proforma invoice.

Delivery Area

Forison delivers:

  • across Europe, and
  • to selected destinations worldwide.

For international deliveries, customs clearance, import duties, taxes, or local charges may apply and are the responsibility of the customer unless agreed otherwise.

How the Shipping Process Works

Step 1: Submit an Inquiry

You submit an inquiry or request a quote via the Website or by contacting us directly.

At this stage:

  • no prices are displayed,
  • no payment is required,
  • the inquiry is non-binding.

Step 2: Receive a Quotation

Based on the information provided, Forison prepares and sends you a quotation, which includes:

  • proposed products and configurations,
  • product pricing,
  • estimated production and delivery timeframe.

Shipping costs may still be indicative at this stage.

Step 3: Confirmation & Proforma Invoice

After you confirm that you wish to proceed, Forison issues a proforma invoice, which includes:

  • final product pricing,
  • individually calculated shipping cost,
  • estimated production and delivery time,
  • total payable amount.

Step 4: Payment & Processing

Once the proforma invoice is approved and full payment is received:

  • the order is confirmed,
  • production or preparation begins,
  • shipping is scheduled.

Step 5: Dispatch & Delivery

Once the shipment is handed over to the carrier:

  • you receive dispatch confirmation,
  • tracking details and handling or assembly instructions may be provided.

Palletized Delivery & Access Conditions

All shipments are palletized and handled by professional freight carriers.

Standard delivery is limited to delivery to the first architectural barrier, meaning:

  • delivery at ground level, or
  • delivery to the first accessible entrance, loading bay, or curbside location.

Standard delivery does not include:

  • delivery to upper floors,
  • carrying goods beyond the first barrier,
  • stairs, elevators, or internal transport,
  • unpacking, positioning, or installation.

The customer is responsible for ensuring:

  • suitable access for pallet delivery,
  • sufficient space for delivery vehicles,
  • availability of unloading equipment if required.

Any additional services must be:

  • requested in advance,
  • confirmed by Forison in writing,
  • charged additionally.

Additional costs caused by:

  • incorrect or incomplete delivery information,
  • lack of access or unloading conditions,
  • delivery refusal or delays

will be charged to the customer.

Carriers & Risk Transfer

  • Shipments are arranged by Forison using selected third-party logistics providers.
  • Customers cannot choose the carrier or delivery method.

Risk transfers:

  • to Business Customers upon handover of the goods to the carrier,
  • to Consumers upon physical receipt of the goods.

Indicative Shipping Estimates (Before Quotation)

If you require a rough shipping estimate before requesting a quotation, please contact us and provide:

  • destination country,
  • products of interest,
  • approximate quantities.

Indicative estimates are non-binding.
Final shipping costs are confirmed only in the proforma invoice.
